CNC turning \u2013 Pozna\u0144<\/h2>\n

CNC turning is a type of machining that allows work on external surfaces (turning) and internal surfaces (boring) of objects in the form of a solid of revolution or solids or axially symmetrical outlines. Thanks to metal turning, it is also possible to obtain shapes other than rotational ones. The turning process consists in separating a layer of material from a given surface with a turning knife. This action allows the creation of any shape.<\/p>\n

The entire process is automated and controlled by a computer program, it does not require manual work of the operator. Metal turning is characterized by high precision and repeatability. All data regarding the correction of dimensions and tool cutting parameters are entered into the program and then mapped on a specific surface.<\/p>\n

CNC milling is a type of machining, consisting of cutting, in which the rotational movement is performed by the tool, and the feed movement by the workpiece or also the tool. During work, the tool blades do not move at the same time, but one after the other. Slotting is another milling technique and consists of performing horizontal and vertical movements by the knife, attached to the device with a slider. Milling is possible thanks to the use of a milling machine. The milling process can be divided into three stages:<\/p>\n

  1. Creating a detailed design and uploading it to a computer program.<\/li>\n
  2. Processing the design and adapting it for implementation, i.e. creating a tool control plan.<\/li>\n
  3. Milling the material.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
